Re: WTB 3.08 Posi 5-lug Coil Spring rear
I just sold a nice 3.08 posi out of a 71' a couple of months ago and scrapped the housing and it was right here in your hometown. I still have a set of 3.08 gears but I don't think those are gonna help ya. I will check with a couple guys I know and see if anyone has anything interesting!

I'm 99% sure I have a 5 bolt open coil spring rear in my storage building- if that helps.

Re: WTB 3.08 Posi 5-lug Coil Spring rear
My SWB truck has the original case that had 3.08 gears. A previous owner changed the gears to 3.73. Rather than change the gears back to 3.08, I wanted to see if someone had a nice 3.08 posi differential I could easily swap onto the truck.

Re: WTB 3.08 Posi 5-lug Coil Spring rear
Man, if I was closer I have my 12bolt under my truck, has 3.08's and was rebuilt 2 years ago ( only about 3500 miles) I need the 3.73 for the 4speed auto.
