He's sold several at this price. They're worth it with the $$$ and time that goes into restoring them. Although I can't afford it so I buy a few rough ones cheap and put them together to make a couple nice ones

I bet that one ends up close or over 250...

he's sold a couple at 250-275 over the last few months....just keeps relisting it (I've been watching it as its' relisted to see how it sells since I have several I'm restoring and wanted to see how the market is

)

At the local junkyard center consoles go for $20, I suppose I just need to wait for one of those 77-80 consoles to show up.

I too have dealt with restoring these and know what is involved . I figure a console that isn't restored is worth $100+. Then when you figure in your time and what is involved finding a few consoles to get the nicest parts, I feel $250 is MORE than fair. If you were restoring these at an hourly rate like a body shop charges there is no way anyone would be able to afford to buy them! Trust me, if I needed one I would be more than happy to pay $250 for one that already had all of the work done! I think I have about 3 hours just stripping all of the paint off the lid and bottom piece!

I paid about $250 for mine that was restored, its real nice and looks great plus it came with the floor mounting bracket...no regrets here
