gas gauge question ?

The stock gas gauge reads the correct gas level when key is off correct ? when key is off the gauge doesnt go to empty right ?

I don't think so...it's been a while since I've had a key in mine, but I think it reads correct with the key on and moves a little after off...maybe not all the way empty though.

it stays where its at with the key on. it might move a little but not much.
