same here, got a 31 gallon tank out of an 88 fuel injected big block burb in mine, just changed the sending unit to a non fuel injected one from a 76 small block burb. and yes the ohms are the same. also i had to remove the 2 rear most cross-member as they were in the way on mine (also cause im bagged), you may only need to remove the one at the very back and replace it with a home made one farther back like i did. also the fuel filler line is on the wrong side, but you can just turn the tank around so its on the right side
