Re: what is the thickness of the stock lower control arms?

I measured some C30 arms & they were just shy of 1/4" @ .22. 1/2-ton uppers were just shy of 3/16". Both were measured @ the lower 'lip' of the control arm.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

so 3/16 would be a good estimate of c10 arms? (im honestly not familiar with the different ratings, 1/2 ton 3/4 ton and such in relation to c10 and c30 and so on, sorry)

no just modifying them... i have access to professional welders (the men and the machines) i just dont have any way to accurately measure the thickness and i figured it would be easy enough to ask,
