Stock I6 Engine and Trans colors for 69???
I just powerwashed my frame and drivetrain tonight. The PO did a shoddy spray paint job all over eveything. (Including the wiring harness?!?!) Never the less I blew some orange spay paint off and found red paint under neath. Cant tell of it's original or not but does anyone know the correct color for a 250 I6 and a 3spd Trans for 1969. (Tranny had only some orange and some red on the bell housing....

It's sort of a red orange. I guess it depends on how old the paint is. Auto parts stores used to sell Chevy engine paint but I haven't seen it lately.
