[86/87] Vent window rubber
Hey guys I've been working hard on the truck I have and ordered some vent window rubber from a vendor and installed it and there is a large gap at the top of the vent window. I've called around and all of the vendors say that 86 and up are one piece rubber. I have an original 87 that has not been messed with and it's got a two piece rubber weather stripping. At the back of the window is a hard rubber piece that has tabs that go into the channel and then the other piece that runs from the top to the back of the vent window.
The one piece rubber that I got from a vendor leaves a big gap at the top of the window.. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Or am I just doing it wrong? Thanks! Dave Here is a pic of the w/s installed.. |
