Time flies when you're having fun

To all those just starting out. May you all have the time and money to see it through.

Thankfully I'm alot closer to the end of my build than I am to the start. Several years, two states, and a few trips to the ER.... but the payoff is finally here. A couple little pieces to go but its nice to finally drive it around.

Re: Time flies when you're having fun

Thanks all. The interior is coming along. New carpet and new vinyl on the buckets and rear bench. All the other stock pieces have been refurbished. Only real minus are my original rear side panels that the previous owner cut speaker holes in but I'll find a nice way to fill them in.

LOL. Trips to the ER. Well one was from rolling the front axle around on the tires and placing my hand between the steering arm and the axle. Things were all good till the tires leaned over. Other was from welding in the rocker boxes while laying on the floor and stupidly pulling the wire welder closer and forgetting the 4 foot tall welding tank was attached. That knob on the top of the tank was a lot harder than my head. But I'm probably not the first person to add some hospital receipts to the restoration folder.

Ouch - Well at least these type of incidents make for good build story!
