BBC Header question on 67s
After looking at Jegs and Summit, all of the BBC stuff starts with 68. I called Jegs to find out why they wouldn't work on a 67 and he said he didn't know why, that they just wouldn't. Is there a difference in the frame or something that I'm not aware of? I'm switching the 67 over to a powdercoated, c-nothced and dropped frame from a 68, would that allow the headers to fit?
Thanks. |

Re: BBC Header question on 67s
you couldnt get a big block till 68 and when this happened they cut back the width of the upper flange of the frame,,, in mine i just ground it down to clear the headers, every thing else is the same

Do you have a pic by chance? How much did you have to grind away?

Re: BBC Header question on 67s
I don't have any pictures handy, but I had to cut off about half the top flange & a bit of the bottom flange to clear my Hedman 69110s.
