Tricks And Tips
I just found another thread like this on another forum.
What are some little maintenance or parts interchangeability tricks or tips you know about these trucks. For example: a '66 mirror will screw in place the '67 - '71 mirror. |

besides his ANNOYING laugh every 3 seconds, I cant stand the way he throws parts,tools etc... I thought my wife & I was the only people that look for the mute button.

73-87--plus up to 91 suburban--front suspension bolts in 67-72-nice upgrade for brakes-cheap in every wrecking yard here.........jim

He's a cool guy though. He's gotta cheese it up some for TV. I'd say some jeans that fit the "daddy-parts" area better and a hair cut should be on his to-do list.
Otherwise, I like his show. I'd watch anything car related over the rest of the crap on TV anyway.

Early armrests interchange with later trucks too. They are so much nicer than the clunky 67-71 units. Bolts right on.

1 more --Still have people that don't know lwb and swb control arms are the same- Thats what makes a lwb to swb conversion easy (talking about moving lwb equipment over to short frame-shorten shaft-e-brake cables-short bed and your done)...............jim
