66 radiators

If I were to visit our local salvage yard for a radiator for my 66 chevy lb c10 what kind of chevy trucks would I look for and what size radiators would I need

You will need a radiator for a '63-'66 pickup, Suburban or Panel. There are 4 different ones as far as I know. The one for the I6 cylinder, a 2 row core for a V8, a 3 row core for a V8 and a 4 row core for a V8. The V8 radiators were also used with the 292 I6.

There are not any other years of Chevy truck radiators that will fit without modifications.

A wrecking yard radiator is a crap shoot at best. You should be able to get a new replacement radiator for around $200.00

I would visit ebay and then do what you have to to make it fit , which is not all that hard .. if your mounts are in the right spot it will bolt in , and I am talking the 284# model.. just found out mine will have to be moved or the frame modified to fit .... must be that most of these trucks came with 6's............
