Almost done...pick it up tomorrow
Here's a few pics....turned out good. When I first started looking at blazers, I feel in love with one that looked exactly like this, so I decided to build my dream blazer. I'll get some better pics tomorrow. Roll bars, and seats will be back in.

For whatever reason, I can't find them on my computer. Here's my facebook page with the album on there. Just copy and paste the link.

and the funny thing is, It took me forever to pull the trigger on the color. Wasn't a big fan of the racing stripes, and liked the look of the classic bullet whole rims better. Glad I decided to go with it though. |

Re: Almost done...pick it up tomorrow
Got a confession to make. I have always hated the scoop hoods on these trucks. HOwever, with the racing stripes, its pure magic. Great result!

Re: Almost done...pick it up tomorrow
Looks great! You need to loosen your hood hinges and push the front of the hood up and rotate the hinges backwards, it will close the gap at the back of your hood.

Re: Almost done...pick it up tomorrow
Thanks! I have a bungy to hold down the left front side. Plus i'm missing a hood pin. Will adjusting the hinges make the hood fit tighter overall? Thanks for all the info guys!

Very nice! Rally stripes work very nicely on that silver.

Re: Almost done...pick it up tomorrow
Turned out beautiful. But I have to say, It would look cleaner without the lights under the front bumper. They look a little funny.

Re: Almost done...pick it up tomorrow
I'm in the process of a frame off restoration on my 70 Blazer, I decided on silver quite a while ago and have been looking at a BMW Diamond Silver, whats the official name of your silver paint? Looks very nice.
