I wanna see some crew cabs

Is there already a crew cab dedicated thread? I couldn't find one. If not, post some pics of your crew cabs. This is my way of finding who has built or is currently building my next truck. Haha! I want a crew on a modern Duramax 4wd chassis (not a dually)

Oh yeah, I follow Drews thread. I cant wait to see that truck on the road. I just thought there may be others out there lurking. Unless others emerge, I will consider this thread a fail.

Re: I wanna see some crew cabs

I have a crew cab and a extended cab truck. The last picture is a blue and white 67 extended cab truck I used to own but it now has a new owner.

Yep, your crew cab is exactly what I want mine to look like. LOVE it. Any idea what the wheelbase is? What engine/tranny combo? That is one sweet ride.

Re: I wanna see some crew cabs

The whelbase is 163" or 13' 7" The engine and transmission are a TBI 454 with a 4L80E trans and a 241 transfer case all from a 1991 Suburban. The front and rear axles are from the same Suburban along with the master cylinder and booster.

I love it, but it won't work for me. Eventually, I will need a diesel, at least a 3/4 ton so I can pull a 5th wheel. My 'Burb is the talk of the campground everytime we take it camping. People just arent use to seeing old metal pullin' campers. In fact, the people at Lakewood Campground in Myrtle Beach remember me the second I hit the gate... not for my magnetic personality, but for that old Burb. Imagine how sweet it would be to pass his old blue crew yankin a modern 40' 5th wheel. I'm droolin' just thinking about it

SO, when the time comes . . . if I want a bigger camper, I need a bigger tow vehicle

I think I saw it... If it's the one I saw, he had a Cummins.

I know many dont like Chevy diesels, but I would still prefer the Duramax. And it was a 3 door. I know I am sounding picky now, but I have a 3 door Suburban. If I'm dreamin about a crew, I want it all. I'd love to have that 4th door with 3 kids.

this is the one I saw...

Unique. Kind of a Dodge in Chevy clothing. Actually there seems to be some Dodge clothing too. Do I spy a Bumblebee stripe?
