Re: Lowering question
Is it a GMC? The reason I ask is because most GMC's came with leaf spring rears and most Chevy trucks had coil spring rears. The coil spring rears are lowered simply by changing springs and the axle housing already sits on top of the trailing arms.
If it's a leaf spring truck, and you need to do a flip kit, check in the 73-87 forum. I think there's a few threads about flip kit installs there. Also check in the "Suspension" sub-forum.

Re: Lowering question
I believe DJM sells a flip kit for the 67-72 leaf spring trucks.
I'm not sure what most people do for relocating the shocks,... or which drop shock is used in a leaf spring application. These trucks have a different rear shock set-up, compared to the 73-87 trucks. Look here,... http://www.djmsuspension.com/Instruc...p/FK1012-5.pdf Complete parts list here: http://www.djmsuspension.com/applica...0apps.html#c10
