Neutral Switch 700r
I am installing a neutral saftey switch in my 65 GMC. I have a 700R transmission and a 72 van tilt column in the truck. I am having trouble adjusting it to "start" in neutral. It is starting in the drive position next to neutral. I have adjusted the switch as much as I can.
I started to wonder if the 72 neutral switch is for a non-overdrive transmission and that is why I am having trouble with the adjustment. Is that accurate? I have searched the deepest depths of the forum, but I found nothing that addresses my issue. Thanks, |

Re: Neutral Switch 700r
I'm wondering if you need to enlarge the slot for the switch to get more adjustment. Alan's Classics build thread showed mods to his steering column but I dont remember what the mods were for exactly. 'Vitamin C-10' in builds....
