Tonneau Cover

Has anyone purchased the new stepside shortbed tonneau cover from LMC? It's hard to tell from the catalog pic if it will fit tight and look good. It is held on with velcro with no mention of any bows to prevent sag in the center.

Re: Tonneau Cover

I looked for a long time before I bought my tonneau cover. I want a soft type so it is removable, easy to open close, no holes drilled in my bed, adjustable if it stretches a little bit, etc. The only outfit I could find was Truxedo who will build a custom cover for short beds, no else makes a non-snap cover for short beds. It cost about 350 bucks but has been worth it to me. I have included a photo taken this year which is the 4th year I've had it installed. It is held on by velcro strips on the bed side, mounts easily, has a length adjustment, rollable, removable with no tools. Contact Truxedo and they will show you how to measure your bed, but you must buy thru a local dealer, which may or may not give you a discount.

Re: Tonneau Cover

Good looking cover. I'd spend $350 on that.

Re: Tonneau Cover

I went with one from Craftec. I like the convenience of it being framed and hinged, just drop the tailgate and raise it up, surprisingly weatherproof as well.
