Thank's and this is his lifting partner!
 Modified and doubled the steel casters in the front for going under lowered vehicles and welded a pipe to pass the shaft through the legs for the removable big wheels. You can travel across gravel and grass with the big wheels on.

Wow that is one awesome cab lift!!
I can see you are a man that has faith in his welding/fabricating skills, OR you are very good with photo shop. Any higher & the wires become a concern. I have basically the same engine hoist but I think I'll use the beam over hook method to lift my cab. I should add the larger wheels to help with the asphaly driveway. Great Work. |

Yeah, wanted to drive Dad crazy so I lifted it to the limits. It's nice to work on the cab while it's on the engine hoist because there's hardly anything in your way. The cab rotisserie legs are for long term storage and to allow us to use the engine hoist for other things. I left the cab attached to the legs and loaded it in the trailer for the sandblaster. They adjust for height as well but their quite comfortable at their lowest position. With the glass removed you can stand inside the cab and rotate the cab or elevate it to work comfortably. it's no wonder I still have a gut. LOL.
