replacing manual brake setup on a 75 with power

I have the 75 at the house now and started to plumb and install the power brake stuff. Master cyn., proportioning valve etc.

So far I found that the "rod" from the back of the 80's master cyn. wont fit on the brake pedal. The cyn hole is to small. My plan is to drill it bigger. I know its hardened, I have the drill bit to prove that.

Is there anything else that I will need to plan for that Im not seeing?

I do plan on doing disc rears on the 12 bolt down the road.

Thanks for the help!
