I want a Lighter rim!
Right now on my Sonoma I have my Corvette rims, And they look real good dont get me wrong. But I want something like 100 pounds lighter . The 2.2 I got in it, is hurting for power as it is, it dont need help from the vette rims. So what kinda alm rims are you guys running?

Re: I want a Lighter rim!
Changing rims won't help. Changing tires will. A wider tire can effect rolling resistance. Or type of tire too. Narrow Passenger type tires roll easier than wide off-road type.
We switched from bridgestone Dueller's to suv type BFG longtrail's and what a difference. Also tire height effects a small motor too. Too tall. Too wide. Hard on power. What kind of tires you got and what size? |

Re: I want a Lighter rim!
Drop down to a tire that is only 7" wide. Anything larger will drag it down.
