I have some ECE drop springs if your interested. I am pretty sure they are 2" front, as far as I know never been mounted. I got them along with a parts truck I bought.

You have to have 71-72 ? I have a brand new set for 63-70, swapping to CPP modulars.

The modular ones are CPP and I think suck the front tires in some. Did you find anything out on the springs.

Summit Racing has CPP (Western) standard 71-72 drop spindles in stock for $229 right now.
I looked yesterday for a friend of mine.
That's the cheapest I found.

Plus no waiting on CPP to ship them out.
