Step position on lifted truck
I just bought some CARR super hoop II steps and am curious if anyone else has a set on their 72- 4X4. Were you able to mount them to the rocker panel? Did you mount them centered with the front edge of the seat as per instructions or did you find a better position? Any pics? Did you have to modify the mounts at all? Thanks for any suggestions!

Re: Step position on lifted truck
Walk up to your truck like you always do and raise your first leg up the way you always get it. That's where you want the step. With no step I seem to put my foot against the front pillar to pull up. So,probably forward in the opening would work well. But,everyody's different. Do what's comfortable for you.
