I wish I could say the same. My 72 Blazer never breaks down, but my 2001 Chevy van with 115,000 miles has caused all kinds of headaches. So far I've had to replace the distributor, O2 sensors, MAF sensor, ECU, front wheel bearings and seals, rear wheel bearings and seals (and brakes, since they were soaked with 90w), rear wheel cylinders, and high pressure regulator (it's bi-fuel CNG). The interior rattles, the door handles have come off or broken, the power locks stopped working, and now the radiator is leaking. I've spent more on repairs for the 2001 than I have for my Blazer, and that includes the engine I put in the Blazer when I bought it.

Anyway, enough of my rant. Good luck finding a fun project.

Now THAT is a bummer! This is the reason that so many Americans went Japanese or other foreign cars for many years. American Automakers simply lost their way, and frankly, they just weren't worth the trouble. But hopefully things are different now. Or, more like they used to be!!
