I replaced my ball joints this weekend and I want to put the best quality grease in them. Also, would the same grease apply to the tie rods?

Same grease in both.
I use just standard grease from my local parts store.
I'm sure there are some that would say a certain brand is better than another.
The real key,... is to grease the joints on a regular basis.
