Re: Drop coil spring

I have Summit Brand (Ground Force) 3" drop springs in my '69 swb.
I like them just fine.
Also, only $89.95 per set.

Do they have them in a 2" drop? I have not seen them in the catalog. They may be the way to go fir spindles and springs.

Re: Drop coil spring

You have to search for 73-87 springs.
But they are the same as 67-72.

3" drop: ($89.95)

I'm not sure I understand your question.
I have 2.5" drop spindles.
3" drop springs.
215/70-15 tire on a 15x7 wheel.

Do you want a measurement from the ground?
It is low.

Re: Drop coil spring

The lowest point (of the lower a-arm) is 2.5" off the ground.

Re: Drop coil spring

That's the problem with the trucks.
The lower a-arms hang down too far.
The frame has plenty of clearance.

That's why the Dropmember works so great.
You gain about 3" of ground clearance.

My a-arms already have a little paint rubbed off.
