Dually rearend identification.
What rear end would come in a 1985 2wd dually??? Its a Dana I would assume, but not sure. It has ten bolts on the diff cover. It also has a MR10 stamped on the axle tube. Looking to buy a lower numerical gear set for it.

Re: Dually rearend identification.
I need to be sure what it is before I fork out cash for gears. Im looking at 3:54 gears right now. It came out of a 4 spd truck, but going behind an automatic. I would like to afford to drive it. I might swap in a 700R4 instead of gears or both.

"70" will be cast into the webbing, dodge ran 3.54's in their 70's. Not much gear for a real working truck, Ron.
