Vintage Air $$$
Has anybody out there had good luck with Vintage ? and How much $$$ i have a 71 v-8 c-20 missing everything under the hood for A/c .. is vintage the way to go ? i see it @ Yogis $318

The surefit kit at Yogi's is on special for $985.50 Yogi's Sure fit Vintage A/C Kit You might also check into Old Air Products: Old Air Products I have heard excellent reviews on both of these units from boardmembers who have installed them. Have fun

Yeah what is all of yur views on this add on? I think it would be cheaper with 134 refridgent in the long run. Maybe one of you all out their knows better. I am thinking of adding this to my truck.

My V.A system(shure fit), was $950 total, plus a fee for charging it=$1000. I can't believe anyone could sell the same thing for $320? I guess you can buy the parts of the system indidually, but I'm not sure you can mix and match V,A, parts with OEM parts if thats what you're thinking about. I know V,A doesn't warranty for very long (if at all) unless you buy the whole enchalada-package).
I went with 134a on the advice of the dealer. He said it blows plenty cold enough with 134a and he was right. Mike
