Do I remove this crossmember???
I am putting a 350 auto in my '64. I know I need to remove the stock crossmember that the original 3 speed manual bolted too, but what about the cross member that all the emergency brake cables bolt too? And, if I remove it, what do I do about e-brake cables?? Thanks, Jared

Re: Do I remove this crossmember???
I had a 63 c10 and now I have a 64. My first didn't have the cross member in it when I got it, and I removed the one from my 64. I don't plan on putting it back in. As far as the original goes, I never cared for how the e-brake cables were run. I'm going with an aftermarket setup that runs along side the frame rail. Just my .02

Re: Do I remove this crossmember???
on my 63 it won't fit back around the transmission mount, so I am going to look into using one out of a 66 or later

Please elaborate, I'm curious on what you are going to use, as I am in your shoes right now.
