72 Blazer topper/right door issue

Hey gang. I dont know whats going on here. My topper seal on my pass door has about a 1/4 gap. The seals are fairly new. I cant consieve what is doing this. The topper looks ok but can use some paint work. I know my body mounts are not the best but dont consider them shot. I have new polys I want to put on this winter. Anyone have this issue? Are truck and blazer windows different? I hope its not a 71 and older door. Will that do it? Im sure the seals are aftermarket but dont believe these are the issue?

Re: 72 Blazer topper/right door issue

It's probably your body mounts. You just got some sag from running with the top off. I need to replace my body mounts and I'm getting a similar gap.

Try running with the top like that for a bit, then loosen the top and see if you can get it adjusted. You may try parking on slightly uneven ground with to see if it twists the body just enough to close the gap - but be careful doing this.
