blazer top sliding glass seals

Hey guys
I need the seal in the picture that goes in the window channel? I have noticed a little bit of water each time I wash and these are dry rotted pretty bad and theres chunks missing out of them!

I noticed LMC has a seal but not sure if it's what I need
http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/bzc/full.aspx?Page=13
Number 18 and the part number is 36-6196.
If that isn't it what is an alternative to it?

Re: blazer top sliding glass seals

I have read that the LMC seals are very poor in design, and not worth the $$. There was another post I read on this that someone had a glass shop make some. I guess they have the stuff on a roll, just need to cut to fit, but need to add drain hole.

Re: blazer top sliding glass seals

You could swap over to factory solid deep tinted windows. I plan on doing this to mine at some point. You seem to have really good luck @ the junkyards down there, makes me jealous.

That's is probably what I'll end up doing but I like the sliders though. I'll prob put my orig.top in storage when I get a top with solid windows. The only thing is I can't find another top with the solid windows around my area at the moment

there is no difference in the shape of the sliding glass or the solid deep tint glass is there? both windows will fit the same top correct?

I can't tell what is crumbling, is it the "chrome" insert in the center of the outer black seal?

Nevermind, it looks like a pic of the inner felt that is failing.
