1991 Chevrolet V3500 Crew Cab Long Bed

I've come to the realization that I have too many projects and do not forsee me getting to this truck any time soon so I have decided to sell my 1991 Chevy CCLB V3500 4x4. I have $2600 in it and spent another $400 on uship.com to have it hauled to my house. Would really like to get $2500 for it or $2000 if I keep the tranny/transfercase.

I bought this with the intentions of doing a 5.3 or 6.0 engine swap and later a CCSB mod.

It has the highly desirable 4L80E and NP205 T/C, Dana 60 & 14bolt rear with only 4X,XXX miles.

This truck has never been titled and I have a GSA SF97 to get a new title.

Its not a cherry - remember this is gov't surplus, but it has lots of potential and is a good foundation for a build/project truck.

There is the typical common rust hole in the rh rocker under the rear door, rust in the triangle reinforcements in the fenderwells and a little in the bed. The frt rh door is dented and there are lots of hole in the bed floor from fire equipment.

This was a former USAF truck (Blue) so probably was used as a Flight Line Crew hauler before the MO Rural Fire District got a hold of it. My base currently uses a Blue Crew Cab Super Duty's with the same basic options except now we have A/C in most of them.

Ran all the RPO's...4X,XXX on the clock and the condition makes me think that is correct.

Engine was pulled (350tbi in bed) for unknown reason and has been exposed to elements for unknown amount of time.

Since no one is biting on this what would be more appealing getting it running again with another 350FI or 6.2 Diesel?

You had me there for a second it was in the parts board and I was getting excited I want the 91 205 if you do decide to part it out ill drive right on up, I just sold my other mud truck and got a car so no more vehicles lol

I'm in Central, IL and I bought it from a surplus auction in Lebannon, MO.

I got on uship.com and did some research then registered and placed an ad. Within 48 hrs I had about a half dozen hauling bids and ended up paying $400 to ship it. Haulers want loads to and from and hate to haul empty so they make it worth their while to always have a load.

If anyone thinking this is too far to haul really wants to pursue this option to get it to them I'd pay half the shipping off the asking price with a forwarded copy of the agreed shipping cost from the hauler.

That is a really cool truck option wise. Hope someone gets it and does something with it other than part it. Glad you aren't close to me. All I need is another unfinished project.
