2wd balzer questions?????

OK I know the difference in years, well I think I know, I've owned 4 - k5' over the years. But I need to know if c-10 doors (truck), 82 to 87 with power windows and locks will fit a 76 - 78 2wd blazer? And what is a 2wd blazer classified as, c-10 blazer?
What year did they start using catalitic converters on 2wd, I believe the began using them on K-5's in 78.

Thank you for your help.

Tom

Assuming a complete door.. or you are wanting power doors...
Any Front door will bolt up to any model: Pickup/Burb/Blazer
(this is a big can of worms...)
ALL Blazers are "labeled" K5 on the fender badges. Technically a Blazer in 2WD form is a C10, per GM, but all are labeled K5 reguardless of setup.

More info here: http://brochures.slosh.com/

Which had Cats, well, it depends. (another can..) They were first introduced in 1975. Easy way to tell if yours had one is look at the gas filler neck, if it is large, no cat, it if is small (current size) it had one.

If I am not mistaken the trans crossmember is different also. One side allowed extra clearance I believe. Then again that may just be some wrong information I got.

I'm looking to buy one and would prefer a 78 but w/o the cats. I liked the 78 since the rear seat could fold forward allowing more room in the back to carry things.
I never noticed though about the badges as you mentioned, and now that you mention burbs, blazers, trucks, I realized that all but one of my k5 4x4's had full power options, well that's been about 10 years ago anyway.

Thanks Tom

OK, OK, so the left hand slower than the right when typing. I use autocad and most of the drawing is done with the mouse, very little typing, thank goodness because I hate hunt and peck.
But I'm still looking and need info on 2wd "BLAZERS".

Found one here in Phoenix, a 79 with 17" wheels no power though, he wants $4300.

What other information are you looking for? Power wasn't an option on any GM truck until 1977. That is why there are 2 different model doors. 73-76 and 76-91.

Well it looks nice dropped, but I'm still the type of person who likes to leave the pavement behind to get away, lowered has its limits offroad.
