for you guys that run a one wire alternator,
i just got a 100 amp 1 wire alternator, the one terminal says battery, but do i need the wire to be on/off with the ignition switch? also, don't i need to put a jumper wire on the old regulator plug? if so between what wires. any help would be appreciated. thanks , Tony

I installed mine. One wire to the terminal block by the battery, and I just disconnected the regulator and left it.(No Jumpers)
It works fine, now I am going to go back and remove all the unnecessary wiring left over.
