NP205 leak
So I have found that my speedo adapter leaks gear oil out the speedo cable area. Did this on the last one too before I replaced it too. So I gues the question is this, is there a seal or gasket or something supposed to be between speedo adapter and transfer case? Would love to solve one more of the leaks on my k5. The list is long

Re: NP205 leak
Here's a link to a thread made by Greg72 called TECH: Fix Your Leaking NP203 or NP205 case... that I saved. I haven't tried it yet, but maybe it'll help you. Let us know the outcome.

Re: NP205 leak
I have had some stop leaking by wrapping the threads with Teflon.
