OK wtb big back glass

i'm looking to buy a big back glass for 60-66 truck! hopeing to find someone local as i have no idea how much it would be to ship, or how much it would cost for a new one! would be willing to drive up to 2hrs. to get it! if anyone has one or could tell me a average price for a new one, or a way to ship one without it getting broke that would be great!

thanks travis, i have a lead on a salvage yard thats about 10-15 miles from my house that might have a big back glass! will check it out this weekend or next weekend, but thanks again will let you all know if i get one or not!

well i'm still looking! the old man at the salvage yard wasn't there and the young guy knows nothing cars and trucks! all he knows how to do is take parts off the cars!! i called the old man today he said he can meet me sunday afternoon, but i dont know if i can make it since i work sundays!! does anyone know how much it would cost to ship glass that size??

I Bought another Big Window Cab Piece last week from another Salvage before they crushed the truck. If you dont find a Glass by the time you are ready to do the conversion I will part with one of mine. If you are like me you cant sleep at night until you know you have located one....LOL

sig shooter how much do you want for the back glass?? i still would like to get another one incase i break one! cause i called lmc about the big back window and they had it for $69.95 and $20 oversize fee, and since that was the only thing i needed from them the total was $103.70 will be here in a week! the local glass guy i talked to said no one had them and he would have to cut one and that would be $150 and a total of $225 for him to install it! but he didnt want to just cut the glass and sell it, he wanted to install it too!

Glad you got one, price wasn't too bad either.... I was just going to sell one of mine since you were local ( no shipping ) and it sounded like you were ready to do the conversion in a couple weeks, but needed the glass.

When I get further along in my projects I will start selling off my surplus parts, and you will have first shot at the Glass.
