Any opinions on this radiator set up?

I found this set up last nite and want to order it. Has anyone ever had one of these? Seems like a great price. It also has life time warranty. My factory rad is leaking and my elecric fan is not keeping up with new motor. Any opinions?

This is the one I put in my K20 burb. it works great, and is well built. Mine is one the factory clutch fan, and I've never seen it over 190 degrees, even when towing. Doesn't come with the fans though.

I have another Champion in my '71, it's the 2 row version. it works good too. i have electric fans on it.

Re: Any opinions on this radiator set up?

I just emailed them about making sure it will fit and cool my hp level and they responded in just a few mins. I am amazed. It is sunday. I have never gotten a answer back that fast. Seems to know a lot about radators too. He told me to go measure mine and make sure of the over all size and the specs he gave me were exact. They even knew a a rare size gm used to make sure i didnt have that one. Great service so far.

never heard of that company but i bought a similar type deal off of an ebay company like that and mine is amazing. i know a lot of people are scared of buying off brand stuff but a lot of the times they are just as good or better than top dollar name brand stuff

Re: Any opinions on this radiator set up?

a clen factory radiator will outperform an aluminum on of the same size any day, copper tubes are thinner and transfer heat easier than the thicker aluminum tubes

Re: Any opinions on this radiator set up?

Well i got the rad installed and it works great so far. I wired it so my ez efi ecu turns fans on and off. The fans drop the coolant temp from 210 to 190 in under a min. Befor my single 16 inch fan would take 5 and never turn off. Could not be happier at this point. I also did some reading on copper vs aluminum rad and a aluminum two tube 1 inch tube rad will cool as good as a 4 core copper one of same size. But the alum. will be stronger and lighter then copper and can handle more psi. From what i read one is not bette at cooling then the other it is just more of size and weight differences. I may have read it wronge but that was what i took from the 3 different stories i read.
