Car Cover

My Suburban is getting ready to sit for a year and I want to put a decent car cover on it. What recommendations do you guys have?

Re: Car Cover

LMC had their upper line ones on sale a few weeks ago. Got me one for Christmas but haven't used it yet...

Re: Car Cover

i think California Car Cover has the very best...but you pay a premium. for less than that i just bought a 3 year old round style 12x20 garage and just put a tarp on top to cover the small wear holes (even thick covers won't last long when exposed to cold/sunlight). it should hold up ok to snow load from what i'm told. i just need to put some crushed rock down with a tarp over it to stop moisture coming up. but it will beat having snow blow under my truck or having to shovel it out so i can take it for a spin on those rare clear/dry days. just unzip the door and go! before i spent several minutes getting the tarp off (and even more putting it back on) and i couldn't put it away wet (yes, i occasionally end up driving my truck on a rainy day...so sue me). i put a tarp on my eqaually old Holiday camper and the motorcycle always goes high and dry in the shed. but in a couple years i want to build a big shop to put all the toys in so this is the cheapest effective method for me.

oh yeah....you live in California, so you don't have to deal with snow. dry too, so a cover will be able to shed excess moisture, unlike here in the northeast.
