75-86 replacment taillights

I replaced my dull taillights with some of those euro ones and I just don't like the looks of them. I'm going back to the originals and was looking around for them at various places. One thing I can't figure out is why the passenger side costs on a average of $20 more than the driver side? I'm looking at the ones w/chrome trim I would like original gm but I might have to settle for replacement ones. Anyone know of a good place to get some? By the way mine is a 85 silverado lwb fleetside thanx for any input...Vernski

[THE "10" SILVERADO]

I checked LMC but I found it cheaper at O'Riellys. Since the burbs, blazers, and crews used those tailights till 91 they still keep them in stock at the store. I needed a drivers (I think) and called them to check. They had it and all I had to do was pick up. Good quality, they just don't sell the gaskets so I still have to order 2 from LMC.

Classic parts has re-popped lenses with the trim for $17.95 each. Gaskets are $3.95 each.

[INSIDIOUS '86]

The plus side my friends is that the cheap replacement ones at oriellys is they are still American!!!! I just got some for my truck. I'm happy enough with them. Just need some nos chrome trim
