engine identification
I bought a 69 one ton for parts . the p.o. said it had a 350 that came out of a camaro that originally came out of a vette, One friend says it,s a 305 another friend sa,ys it,s a327 can somebody tell me a good site to look up these numbers. they are from the front passenger side of motor 152137928 the other number is in larger text, t02040zt if anyone can help decypher these it would help me decide if i want to rebuild it.

Can you verify the pad information? It does not correspond with any listings that I can find. Here is a good site.

Look on the back of the engine, on the drivers side, just in front of where the tranny bolts up. You may have to clean off loads of dirt ad grease but there should be numbers there. Those numbers usually tell you with out a doubt what it is(note usually).

ever notice that all 350's for sale are LT-1 350's, and all 327's are Corvette 327's? I hate it when they do that. That 69 one ton wouldn't have a fleet side bed on it would it? |
