where to get seat reupholstery for this seat?

first off, is there not enough traffic for an interior section?

now to my question.........does anyone know of a place (preferably a vendor on this site) that has reupholstery for this kind of seat. it has the built in arm rest and i love it. i'm not even sure if it came with the 67-72 years. i've only seen one other photo of someones seat like mine on this site, so i'm doubting it came stock.
if i can't find a replacement cover, then i'm just going to have to dish out some dough to get it redone.

thanks.

The seat is from 1988 to 1994 gm or chev 1/2 ton. think it's a SLE or silverado trim. Nice seat. I had a quick look on the net and did not see a good repalcement stock fabric cover. clean and re- die the seat may be an option to.

there's some real nastinest going on the passenger side, someone spilled something thick on it. i'll check in with a shop locally and see what kind of quote i can get. it's really comfortable, so hopefully the foam is still good.

If the upholstery it's self is in good condition, have you checked with a detaiclean l shop about having it cleaned. I used to see the guys at the dealership I worked at work wonders with some of the trade in cars they had to clean up.

I have a split bench with the same fabric in gray and it is a dirt magnet from the word go.

Check with Pickupman or Truckseats on this board.

Would be cool if you could install cupholders on that arm rest.

Re: where to get seat reupholstery for this seat?

i suppose i should've mentioned i'm going with black interior. so, the blue will not do.

kcsa75 - thanks, i'll check out those vendors

i kept the center piece before i got rid of my 01 silverado. i'm going to see what i can do about installing these cup holders in my 69 like it is in the pic. plus i'm glad i still have this part of the seat. it's a great lounge chair out in the garage. i just sit back and stare at my truck invisioning and fantasizing while i smoke a cigarette. and it doesn't take up much room.

I believed I've heard something about glued seams on these seats that makes them REALLY hard to recover.

That seat would look good covered in the 72 houndstooth cloth/vinyl combo. Sorry, just thinking out loud! Joseph

those seats were equal width buckets and you can take out the head rest so the back would be level with the window. with that center it's like a bench, plus that center folds down as an arm rest plus storage inside. another plus, the seat belts are built in and shoulder strap also. i've thought about pulling one out of my 09 and seeing how they fit.

This is correct... That specific seat has the fabric glued to the foam underneath it. Youre most likely going to have to have a shop "skin" the existing fabric and them maybe glue the new stuff onto it.
