Is this worth buying? Or is it crap?
Seems to me that these might be cheap as hell. Anyone know anything about the quality of it?

Can't say for sure about the trim, but he has perfect feedback...

If the seals are good, then it is probably worth it. GMC Pauls has a
kit that you may want to compare it to. Not exactly the same kit but close. Jim |

I'd buy something like that here, or from one of the board's aftermarket suppliers with a good reputation before ever buying something like that on ebay. You won't have much of a guarantee or support if there's problems or it doesn't fit right...

Just looking through my new Chevy Duty catalog and looks like the same stuff would run about $275 plus shipping.

If it is the glue on type, pass it up. Get the weather stripping that has the rubber metal clamp already glued to it. I know JC Whitney sells it. The glue on type of weather stripping is a pain in the ass. It never stays glued on and it is a pain to clean up if you ever want to replace it again. I have the glue on stuff and it sucks.

I'VE USED THE PRECISION WEATHERSTRIP, & IT'S VERY GOOD STUFF. JOHN
IT'S THE GLUE ON TYPE ALRIGHT (I'VE NEVER USED THE CLAMP ON TYPE, OR EVEN SEEN IT) (DOOR TO CAB SEAL), BUT I'VE PUT IT ON NO LESS THAN 3 DOZEN TRUCKS WITHOUT A PROBLEM. (THE FACTORY USED GLUE) I USE 3M WEATHERSTRIP ADHESIVE, & SPRING TYPE CLAMPS TO HOLD IT TILL IT DRYS. I ONLY GLUE ABOUT 2 FEET OF IT AT A TIME, & CLAMP IT ABOUT EVERY 5". JOHN

I emailed him about the quality, so we will see if he replies.
Thanks for the input.
