Bucket Seats for 72
I have a 72 short bed step side 4 x 4. I am the original owner.
I'm getting old and broken down and I'm thinking of some things I can do to make my truck more comfortable for me. I am considering installing bucket seats (replacing the original bench seat). Can you all suggest bucket seats that will work in my truck? I'm looking for something with a cushion between the seats so that I could still fit three people in it if the need arrives. I really don't care if they are power or manual. I'd like to avoid major fabrications. Can you suggest something that will work for me? Thanks! |

Re: Bucket Seats for 72
look for a set of buddy buckets if you want to stay near original
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=328534 or a set like the post above if you aren't over 6 feet tall.. Most Tahoes and Silverados have them...

Re: Bucket Seats for 72
Thanks for the great information, guys. I really appreciate it!
I'm 6'2" tall and weigh 270 lbs so that will be a consideration too. I need to do a few things to my truck to make it more confortable for my arthritic back and neck. Then I will be able to drive it for another 40 years (my anniversery is this year)! I also am going to do some sound proofing. I need to quiet things down in the cab so that I don't have to yell to the person sitting next to me. None of these things mattered when I was 17. Thanks again. |

Re: Bucket Seats for 72
the ones in post #2 are the ones that are from your year truck - VA72C10 is a great guy to deal with and he can probably do whatever color you want. Just pm him or ping the thread in post 2. Good luck!
