Yep, many companies make 3 speed manual floor shifters.
Check your local auto parts stores.
Or summit, jegs, amazon, ect.
Hurst makes a nice one.
Be aware that the cheaper ones are just that...cheap.
They break easily and jam up if they aren't adjusted properly or as they wear.

Re: installed automatic floor shifters.

I have a lokar shifter on my th350. I like having the hole in the floor. I think it's how a goods shifter should be. Mounted to the trans!

i know what i want. this shifter is a fantastic deal to me.

just want to see who's got what. and how it looks. i want it for the "Hot Rod" feel. or if anyone has one they built them selves. i would love too see what people have done.

I installed the megashifter in my truck, was pretty straight forward the cable makes it simple to install

i love having the shifter on the floor the ratchet/slap shift is really fun and hard to miss shift

Sorry no pics trucks in my mothers garage for the winter

Re: installed automatic floor shifters.

If you are going to get anything, at the very least get a B&M StarShifter. It doesn't cost much more than the Unimatic and it is an actual ratchet shifter. It will only work with with a three speed auto though.

Re: installed automatic floor shifters.

I have a B&M Mega shifter in my 84 truck, my son's 86 truck and are both 4-speed autos. B&M offers the shifters to fit either 3-speed or 4-speed autos. You have to have the truck Megashifter to get the taller mount for the floor, but I have put a floor shift in 3 trucks now and I like them very much. I did have a cable failure on my old daily driver, but it did not take much to fix it. The local supplier had a new cable by the end of the day.

Re: installed automatic floor shifters.

Here you go a couple sets of a B&M truck megashifter. One is in my 84 truck and the other is in my 91 Silverado. Both of them are connected to 700 R4 trannys. They come with a "T" handle, but I installed the shifter balls on them for comfort when driving.

I thought they add'd reverse lock out to the IndyMatic but the add dont mention that they did.
you'r 100% right , with the reverse lock out it aint worth a crap.
