Left and right tanks are different and won't interchange I don't think. The tanks themselves are shaped differently on one end to fit inder the cab and the opposite end that goes under the bed is larger.

Ron,

Where in NC are you? I have several. E-mail me at mburris@carolina.rr.com and we'll work out the details.

Tank

73-86 tanks were designed to be installed on either side of the vehicle. Flip the straps and tank will fit other side. Good luck Tibbar

is it possible to mount a 73-91 chevy blazer tank to the truck to reposistion it within the frame instead of the saddlebag style?

gas tank

If you don't have a spare tire mount under there. Then yes it is fairly easy. The only problem is the filler neck. Have installed tubes and put the neck back at the factory location, or some people put it in the wheel well. Others cut the fill panel out of a suburban or blazer and put it on a pickup for the custom look.

These tanks are fairly universal, so you can put the neck where you want.

Good luck Tibbar
