Spent 2900 on a 2004r trans with a trans brake and 800ft tq capability. Was it necessary? Nooooo. Do I regret it? Nooo. plans for the future involve a twin turbo Lsx - someday....

Re: Let the Income Tax Truck Madness Begin

I'm spending my income tax paying off a truck I just traded for my K10... Not exactly the way I imagined it happening this year. So much for buying a Vortec 5.7 donor truck...

Re: Let the Income Tax Truck Madness Begin

Glad to hear you get money back. Kids are grown, house is paid off, I'm happy when I don't owe. I've got a lot more opinion on the subject but my therapist says I need to let things go.... Good luck with the truck!

Well as long as your happy that's what matters!!! .I start a new job next Wednesday and was tired of needing tools, borrowing tools, or paying to have work done...It just worked out well...Put the rest of the income tax on debt though

Uncle Sam just shifted you from "Borrower" to "Lender". Enjoy the tools, and totally love the seat cover.
