1984 K10 project- the money pit
Hey guys, I bought this back in sept.
I think I overpaid, in it at $1600 It has a 305, 4 speed auto and saggy saggy springs. the only rust is the usual rocker and wheel well type. it was a City work truck and the only option on it is the powersteering. has 131 K on it, And I just put new head gaskets in and a new radiator. I bought a complete 1974 K10 for parts (bought from army buddy that was a certified mechanic), paid $300 for it, so I now have a built 350, tranny, tcase, dana 44,and 12 bolt to play with. (for sale!!!)and he threw in a snowblower these were taken today. I plan on painting the lower tan part, gloss white,as well as the wheels, headache rack and toolbox. Truck has a hiccup once every 20-30 miles but I think I messed the carb adjustment up a little when i put it back together. Good truck overall, need 2nd opinions though. |
