lit kit swap
i currently have a 88 gmc k1500 for my dd then i still have the frame from a 92 s10 that was one of my older threads on here, that still has the 5" kit in it. i was wanting to put a lift in my 88 so i asked my dads friend who is very experienced with this stuff if he could help me find a good deal on one then he said i should be able to use the lift off of my s10, they are both a IFS 4x4 truck so if someone could please help that would be apreciated, i only need to know about with the front end

Re: lit kit swap
It isn't going to swap. S10 IFS has much smaller components than even a 1/2 ton full size. They do go together in a similar fashion, but that is where the similarity ends. None of the dimensions are the same. Best thing you could do would be sell off what you can from the S10 frame to use to buy a full size kit for the 88.
