AutoX tire size question

Hey guys,
Whats the thoughts on the difference between running say 17" wheels versus 20" all things being equal on tire size and treadwear rating? Was planning on running 20x8.5 on the front and 20x10 on rear with 275/40 and 315/35 - but got to thinking that it seems like most everyone seems to be running 17's or 18's on the fast rides.

Re: AutoX tire size question

Tires are cheaper for 17's and 18's and rotational weight is less also. thats about all the help I can be.

Exactly.... Less rotational weight = more responsive on the course. Running them large enough to clear the calipers typically means 17-18" these days w/the big brake packages. Anything more can be a hindrance to performance.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
