Re: steel wheel question

Any steel wheel intended for a Camaro or Chevelle will fit. A lot of the GM mid size rear wheel drive cars use that bolt pattern.
If you have a connection with a tire store that sells a lot of custom wheels you might ask about take off wheels. Sometimes you can get a deal on a set of almost new factory wheels and tires for a lot less than you would pay for the tires normally. Or if there is a car dealship or used car dealer that always seems to have hot lick late model cars on the lot with oversize custom wheels and tires. They may have take offs in the back room that you might be able to work a deal on.

Re: steel wheel question

the 2010 camaro has a 18 inch steel wheel it only 7 1/2 wide and bolt pattern is a 5 on 120 (which i believe is a 5x4.75) .but as soon as you say camaro and 2010 you will more then likley pay $100 per wheel (to buy them new is about $300 each and most wrecking yards know that).wheel vintiques is also planning on making the gennie wheel in a 18s but it will only be 7 inches wide. not sure if it out yet.but they will be a custom order.the on line catolog is being reworked so you will have to call them.they are rumored to be $100 or more. there are late model dodge rims in 18s to 20s.like 2002 to 2008 dodge 1500 spare tire wheels that are 20 inch and 8 wide. they are pretty cheap and i have seen a couple of trucks at the car show with them and they looked good. but you would have to get a wheel spacer adapters on ebay. or get a machine shop to redrill your rotors and axles. but thats about $200 and the time to pull your rearend apart to get the axles.or even get the wheels redrilled. other then that, i have not seen any others out there and i have been looking on the internet for years. also try stockton wheel but they are under new ownsership,so who knows what they will put out

Re: steel wheel question

hopefully others can come up with more wheel ideas.i am suprised that hardly any companies are making steel wheels in .18s 20s and even 22s. because it seems everyone wants big wheel now a days.

Hmmmm...I wonder what this could look like painted or powder coated with clips installed for one of the 50's dog dish hubcaps? I think it MIGHT look great. Anyone here have the Photoshop chops to give us an idea?
