How can I tell what year truck my front end parts are from?

What I meant was spindles, tie rods, etc.

Does your truck have disc or drum brakes?

I always try to remove parts and compare them to new parts at a parts store.

Luckily we have an Auto Tire and Parts store locally that knows a lot about these old trucks and is able to help out.

The guy I bought the truck from bought a frame that had disc brakes, But I don't know what year the setup is from. I was wondering if there is a way to tell what year it is from before buying drop spindles
