lower a arm shaft and allignment question

i bought 3 different sets of lowert a arm shafts and this is the last ones from AC Delco. they have all had the alignment hole not in the same place as the originals. will this set my allignment out? would it be ok to use the old shafts and put new bushings and seals on the ends? Rod.

Moving the hole back on the shaft should help you get more caster which is a good thing with these trucks.

I would perfer use the new shafts just dont want to have to put the originals back in when it comes time to do the alignment after its all painted.

Re: lower a arm shaft and allignment question

If your shafts are undamaged in any way then new bushings will do the job, but as far as I know the hole on the shaft does not affect anything, just make sure you center the shaft on reassembly into the A arm, the hole is simply for locating the shaft correctly and to prevent the shaft twisting or slipping.
